Situated in the heart of Harrison City, PA Westmoreland County, founded in 1968, The Penn Township Athletic Association has provided Baseball and Softball for over 50 years to Penn township and its surrounding communities. PTAA maintains and operates 10 baseball / softball fields, concession stand, and batting cages at the Penn Township Municipal Park Complex. Our Mission is to provide an exciting and safe atmosphere, in which the youth from our community and beyond our borders can excel and triumph in the traditional American pastimes of Baseball and Softball.
Our volunteers, coaches, parents and players work together and are committed to providing the most memorable experience for our members and guests. Countless people from outside of Penn Township comment on the uniqueness of our facility and organization, while people inside the PT Community continuously convey their enjoyment of participating in our programs.
The Municipal park is not just a baseball, softball, and football sports complex . Additional facilities on site include a deck hockey court, a skateboard park, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, walking and jogging trails, concession stands with kitchens, permanent restrooms, multiple playgrounds, a dog park, a large fishing pond, and picnic facilities including pavilions and tables. The park also has over 17 acres of undeveloped land being developed for additional recreational use every year.
There’s always something going on at the Park, and the Penn Township Athletic Association is proud to call it home and to be one of the premiere Youth Sports Programs in all of Western Pennsylvania.
